How safe is it to use my credit card online, and how do I make a deposit using my credit card?

Play89™'s online credit card system is fast, user friendly, and completely secure.
To ensure the maximum security, all communications between your computer and the payments server are encrypted using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology, which is the most widely accepted way of protecting data on the Internet.

Deposit options at Play89™

How do deposit money into my account?

To add funds to your account, you must register an account first. Please refer to the Getting Started page (if you have not done so already). Once you have an account, you are ready to deposit money into your account and increase your balance. You can deposit money by following these steps:

  • Start the Play89™ software.
  • Enter your username and password in the login screen.
  • Once you are in the lobby, press on the Cashier on the left hand side of the screen. After that, select the Deposit option.
  • Select your preferred deposit method.

Here in Play89™ we use the latest encryption and protection methods in order to ensure that all your monetary actions and information are completely secure. Submitting credit card information and performing money transfer actions are as safe as performing them in your local bank.

How long does it take to process my deposit?

Deposits made using credit cards, PayPal, NETeller or MoneyBookers, are usually added to your balance within a few seconds.
Wire Transfer deposits usually take up to 48 hours to arrive to our bank.
Your Play89™'s account balance will be credited with the deposit up to 48 hours from receiving your transfer receipt copy by fax or by e-mailing support@Play89.com.
Our fax number is as follows: country code 1 (USA) and the number is 310-388-0421.
After making your deposit, please select the Transaction History option in the cashier and make sure your request has been processed.
If, for any reason, your request has not been processed, or has not been approved after the time periods specified above, please contact us at support@Play89.com

I submitted a deposit but my balance has not changed. What should I do?

Deposits made using credit cards, PayPal, NETeller or Moneybookers are usually added to your balance within a few seconds. With PayPal (and very rarely with NETeller and MoneyBookers as well), though, there might be exceptions due to the high activity volume on their website. If you made a payment and it does not show on your balance right away, please forward your receipt to support@play89.com (or at least supply the transaction ID) so we can credit your account manually.
Be advised that you cannot submit sums lower than the minimum allowed or higher than the maximum.
If your deposit gets rejected for any reason, you will receive a corresponding notification message in your browser.

Depositing to your Play89™ account

What are my options as for depositing money into my Play89™ account?

Firstly, you need to register your account. Please go to our Getting Started page and follow the instructions. Upon doing that, you may start depositing - just follow there simple steps:

  • Run the Play89™ pool software.
  • Fill in your username and password and press Connect.
  • Press the Cashier button - it is located in the left bottom corner of the game lobby. A new browser window will open.
  • Press Deposit and choose your option.


The security methods implemented at Play89™ are the most up-to-date, state-of-the-art you can find nowadays - same level as used in online banking.


How much time will pass from the moment I deposit until the money is actually in my Play89™ account?

Deposits made with credit cards and eWallets (NETeller, MoneyBookers and PayPal) are credited immediately*.
Wires take between 48 and 72 business hours until they are in our bank account. Upon wiring, please, either e-mail the receipt to support@Play89.com or fax it to the following number: country code 1 (USA) and the number is 310-388-0421.
You are advised to verify your deposit request by clicking on Transaction History in Cashier. Has a failure occurred, please contact Play89™'s customer care department right away.
Please note that you cannot deposit less than the minimum or more than the maximum sum, which has been set as your limit. You can see your deposit limits in the left bottom corner of the Deposits window in Cashier.


*Due to the high activity volume on PayPal's website (and rarely, on NETeller's and MoneyBookers' websites as well), some deposits may not go through automatically. This is why it is highly recommended for you to send us your PayPal receipt (or just the transaction ID) in case you cannot see the deposit in your transaction history within a few minutes.

How do I proceed with withdrawing money from Play89™?

In order to be able to withdraw your winnings, you must first identify yourself by logging into our Web Cashier using your username and password - just do the following:

  • Run the Play89™ software.
  • Fill in your username and password and press Connect.
  • Press the Cashier button - it is located in the left bottom corner of the game lobby. A new browser window will open.
  • Press Withdraw and choose your option.



*We cover all fees involved in withdrawals. Nevertheless, in case your bank charges extra for cashing our checks, we cannot hold responsibility for their fees.

Withdrawing possibilities

What are my options as for withdrawing money from Play89™?

The withdrawal options at Play89™ are:



In case you made deposits into your account at Play89™ using a European Visa card, all withdrawals, regardless of which method you choose, will always be refunded to the last Visa card, with which you deposited. Had we not succeeded for any reason, only then will we send the money using the method you originally chose.

The withdrawal request can be found in the Withdrawals section of our web cashier, with a Requested indication to the left of it. As soon as the withdrawal is approved and sent, the indication will change to Approved and from that moment, that withdrawal will no longer be subject to cancellation.

Processing times for withdrawals are usually between 3 and 4 business days. The exceptions are:

  • Wire Transfer, which takes 4-5 business days to be sent and from that moment, time of arrival depends on your bank. Please note that the minimal amount for withdrawal by wire transfer is $200;
  • Bank Draft, which may take up to a month to arrive to your registered address*.




*In case your living address has changed, please notify our customer support team at support@Play89.com right away and prior to making the withdrawal request (if you want a bank draft).

Bank Draft

What does a bank draft mean?

This is a check issued by a bank and can be cashed solely and exclusively by the person, whose name is written on the check. It is mailed to the exact address, with which you are registered at Play89™.
Bank drafts may take up to a month to arrive, as they are being sent out from abroad. Therefore, upon requesting a bank draft, please be patient and you will eventually receive it. Should any problem arise, please do not hesitate to contact our customer care department at support@Play89.com right away.

Wire Transfer

How to I withdraw via wire transfer?

When you choose to withdraw via wire transfer, it means that the money will be electronically transferred from our bank account to yours. To process the request usually takes 4 to 5 business days and after that, it all depends on your bank.
In order to proceed with a wire transfer, we need the following information:

  • Bank Name
  • Bank Address
  • Account Number
  • Account Holder's Name
  • One or more of the following, depending on your bank:
    • Routing Number
    • ABA#
    • IBAN#
    • Swift Code
  • Sort Code - most of the time it means your branch number

NETeller, MoneyBookers and PayPal

What do NETeller, MoneyBookers and PayPal mean?

NETeller, MoneyBookers and PayPal are all E-Wallets. You may see these as an extra layer of protection for online credit card payments. Many of our customers are using eWallets, as they are very safe and easy to use. Withdrawals normally take 3-4 business days to be approved and sent*. After you have registered with them, you will only need to give us an e-mail address and/or account number, depending on the eWallet of your choice - as described below.

To withdraw via NETeller, you need to provide us with your NETeller e-mail and your twelve digit NETeller code. For more information, please go to www.NETeller.com

To withdraw via MoneyBookers, you need to provide us with your MoneyBookers e-mail address. For more information, please go to www.MoneyBookers.com

To withdraw via PayPal, you need to provide us with your PayPal address. For more information, please go to www.PayPal.com

Withdrawal stages

The stages* of the withdrawal process are as follows:
  • Requested - your withdrawal request has been accepted** in the system and is pending for processing by our accounting department;
  • In Process - our accounting department has started processing your request;
  • Approved - our accounting department has finished processing your request and the money has been sent;
  • Total - the complete number of days from the moment you request the withdrawal until it is approved and sent.

*Note: you can only cancel a Requested withdrawal.
**As soon as you request a withdrawal, the requested sum gets deducted from your account right away.

Withdrawal cancellation

How and when can I cancel a withdrawal in case I regret requesting it in the first place?

As long as the status of your withdrawal is Requested, you may cancel it at any time simply by logging into our web cashier using your username and password, choosing Transaction History and clicking the red Cancel button located to the left of the withdrawal, which you wish to cancel. The Requested status will hold for approximately two days. After that, no cancellation is possible.

Upon canceling the withdrawal, the originally requested sum returns into your Play89™ account.

How, where and when to see your Visa refund

I have successfully withdrawn money from Play89™ and it got refunded to my Visa, but I cannot see it. What is happening?

One of the most common mistakes our customers make is to check these things with their bank. Vast are the chances you will not find the answer there. You need to contact your local branch of Visa, the company, and inquire with their representatives. Visa release all charges and refunds once a month - usually on the 2nd or the 10th of each month. Only then will you see the refund on your bank statement - before that it will look like it does not exist at all, while in reality it is in your Visa account.

Getting refunded to credit cards other than Visa

If I deposit using a MasterCard or Diners Club, can I expect that card to be refunded as well?

We are sorry, but as a result of global credit limitations, we can refund European Visa cards exclusively. This means we cannot refund Diners at all - nor can we refund MasterCards.

I want to open an account on my home computer, but my brother has already opened one and received the $2 bonus. Can I get it as well?

The $2 bonus can be received only once per person, computer or household and that is to prevent bonus abuse.

My friend has just opened a new account on my computer following my invitation. Can we get the referral bonuses?

In this case, it would be impossible to get the bonus. To get Play89™'s refer-a-friend bonus, any friend that you refer must open an account from his or her own computer and follow all the procedures described in our Tell-A-Friend page.

I have just been told about an exciting bonus offer, but it arrived to someone else's e-mail. How am I, as a fellow Play89™ player, connected to this?

Actually, you are not - our bonus offers are individual for each user and cannot be transferred from account to account. If you are patient enough, you will find a great offer waiting for you in your e-mail very soon!
