The object of the "Butterfly" pool trick shot is to pocket 6 balls into the 6 pockets of the pool table in one stroke. Note that each ball has to sink into a different pocket and the balls mustn't touch the rails on their way to the pocket.
At the start of the "Butterfly" pool trick shot the 6 balls are grouped in the middle of the table in a shape of a butterfly (hence the name of the trick). In a single, extremely accurate shot, Vincent Facquet, the 3-times world trick shot champion, manages to spread the wings of the butterfly and send each ball straight into each of the table's pockets.
